We present the wedding highlights video of Maegan Carriker and Brandon Barnhardt, that I had a privilege to shoot with my best friend from my childhood - Eric Gunenkov, who just happened to visit us for Thanksgiving from Florida. While he is not a videographer yet, he is very creative and a fast learner. He got this skill in minutes, and saved the day! Maybe he will move to Charlotte one day, and join CIP, Inc as a creative director or something :)

We have Volodymyr and Galina's wedding from 09.05.09!

Volodymyr flew from Sacramento, CA for his bride in Spartanburg, SC. Their love story is interesting and different. Their families are so nice, we had a great fun shooting and servicing our friends' wedding day!
Volodymyr was so nervous in front of the camera, their story about how he proposed is different from each other's. And that's what is making it real and emotional forever.

Everyone was having fun on that day, and what else can you ask for?

YAN + NATALYA = 08.29.09 SEDALIA, MO

Dear Friends,

We officially expanded our coverage to Missouri!
Sedalia, MO is about 2 driving hours from Kansas City and St.Louis, and 14 total driving hours from Charlotte, NC.
Not bad... considering the mileage write off!

Well here is our friends' wedding video. We did Yan's brother's wedding about 2 years ago, and he called us first to do his (I hope)...
Natalya was new to us, but once we met her, it felt like we knew her for years!

Alex and Julie are classic romantics! Kind of reminded us ourselves, 10 years ago, we were also so shy and so in love! Yes, we travel as far as Massachusetts, and even further as Missouri, but that's in the next clip... Enjoy!

The Worst Wedding Photos Ever?

A pair of newlyweds in Pontefract, England have sued their wedding photographer for taking “shoddy” wedding photos. Marc and Sylvia Day paid Fresh Images Photography to capture the memories of their big day. 400 photos were taken and only 22 were deemed “acceptable.”

Among the failures of the photographer, Garth Bowers, are: no cake cutting or reception arrival photos, poorly lit shots, photos with the guests heads cut off and a report of the photographer dropping the camera at one point.

The moral of the story: do your homework when researching wedding vendors.

Last Warm Days in October, 2009

Kids SHOULD play outside, hey that's what we did in our childhood. Sure, that's because we didn't have cell phones, PSPs, PS3s, Wiis, TVs... OK, we had TVs, but it had nothing good on it... not much different from today. So we spent time outside A LOT!
Today I have to make kids go outside and play... And most of the time they have NO IDEA what to do. So we, again, have to be creative to entertain them! So here is my Daniel playing with his cousins - older Kayla and younger Sarah.

Here are some pics from the Independence Day wedding in Asheville, NC. Marina and Oleg were fun to take pictures of, their love was obvious. We visited Grove Park inn for our photoshoot, and after the reception, which ended before the sunset, we also visited the Asheville downtown, for some architecture shots. Enjoy!
